Over 600 visitors took advantage of the opportunity to visit this historic Appellate Court House Saturday, March 30th. The Jefferson County Historical Society hosted the tour as part of the Jefferson County and Mt. Vernon Bicentennial celebration. Although the weather did not cooperate, history lovers turned out to view a bit of our most popular past.
